Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2009 Nissan Murano

Today on our 2009 Nissan Murano, we'll be installing the eTrailer Universal Brake Controller Install Kit, part number ETBC7. We'll be doing this in conjunction with the Tekonsha Voyager Prodigy Brake Controller, part number 39510. To start, we'll first go ahead an assemble the 7 pole adapter bracket. With the hardware provided, we'll use it to attach the bracket to the 7 pole adapter. We'll go ahead and take the bracket, feed it over the wires and up to the back of the mounting surface for the 7 pole adapter. Then we'll take the screws, feed them through the front side of the 7 pole, and secure it with the nuts on the back side. Once we have all 4 in place, we'll go ahead and tighten them down. more

Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank Review - 2009 Nissan Murano- Video

Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank Review - 2009 Nissan Murano

Today in our 2009 Nissan Murano, we're going to be test-fitting the convert-a-ball cushioned weight distribution shank. That's part number AMAC1. We'll be using the convert-a-ball ball mount adapter for use on this, just to give us an idea of how much range it's going to have. Now to begin our test-fit, we're going to slide the 2-inch by 2-inch shank right into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this, we want to make sure that we get the pin hole in the shank of the distribution shank lined up with the pin hole in our hitch. When it's lined up, we're going to slide through a standard 5-inch pin and secure it with our clip. Now this is going to offer a 10,000 pound weight capacity, just so you know what you'll be working with. Now let's go ahead and slide on our adapter. more
